Apply now for an exhibition at Hippolyte Studio for winter 2015.

Photographic Gallery Hippolyte is located at Yrjönkatu 8-10, courtyard, in the old premises of a movie theater in the center of Helsinki. The gallery is suitable for exhibiting all forms of contemporary art. Hippolyte is divided into two exhibition spaces: the main gallery Photographic Gallery Hippolyte (c. 72 m2) and the smaller Hippolyte Studio (c. 13 m²). Hippolyte accepts applications from all artists for both spaces.

There are three available times for the smaller Hippolyte Studio between January and March 2015.

The rent for four weeks is 660 €, for which the gallery provides the space and staffing, lighting and the usual material and equipment for hanging the work. The artist is responsible for other equipment possibly required. Releases and invitations about the events in the Studio are sent predominantly by e-mail.

Deadline for applications 31 July 2014:

– Last day postmark accepted for applications posted in Finland. Applications posted from other locations to be received at Hippolyte by the deadline.

– When delivering the application by hand, please note that the gallery is situated in a courtyard with no access outside of the opening times: Mon–Fri 12–17

– The gallery will also be closed in July during weekends
