Nana & Felix in conversation with Claire Gould
Event page on Facebook:
We welcome you to an open discussion on photography, viewed as an institutional tool used to register, categorize and label people. In the talk we will discuss the possibilities and limitations of commenting on social and political issues from an artists’ point of view and within the context of art.
The talk is open to all and will start off with an introduction walk-through of the exhibition led by Nana and Felix. The artists’ talk will be held in English and accompanied by Claire Gould, Curator at Helsinki Art Museum.
At Helsinki Art Museum Gould has been responsible for exhibitions such as Taryn Simon’s Photographs and Texts (2012). She has also acted as examiner for students’ graduation works at Aalto University, Master’s Degree Programme in Photography in 2013 and 2014.
The talk is in English.
