Exhibitions at Photographic Gallery Hippolyte, Autumn 2015. The deadline has gone

Apply now for an exhibition at Photographic Gallery Hippolyte for autumn 2015. Pauli Sivonen (Mänttä, Finland) invited to take part in the selection.

Photographic Gallery Hippolyte is located at Yrjönkatu 8-10, courtyard, in the old premises of a movie theater in the center of Helsinki. The gallery is suitable for exhibiting all forms of contemporary art. Hippolyte is divided into two exhibition spaces: the main gallery Photographic Gallery Hippolyte (c. 72 m2) and the smaller Hippolyte Studio (c. 13 m2). Hippolyte accepts applications from all artists for both spaces.

There are three avalaible times for the main gallery between August and December 2015. In connection to the selection Hippolyte’s exhibition committee invites a visiting member. The objective is to open the process to new discourses and viewpoints.

The visiting member in this selection is Pauli Sivonen, the director of Serlachius Museums in Mänttä, Finland.

Deadline for applications 31 October 2014:

– Last day postmark accepted for applications posted in Finland. Applications posted from other locations to be received at Hippolyte by the deadline.

– When delivering the application by hand, please note that the gallery is situated in a courtyard with no access outside of the opening times: Tue–Fri 12–17, Sat–Sun 12–16 (Mon Closed)

– The gallery will also be closed between exhibitions 27  – 30 October 2014
