Many of my works are connected to the problems of memory. They look at recollection and the dynamics between the past and the now from various viewpoints. I deal with the questions within my works and their relationship to the surrounding world by combining archive materials, found objects and my own photographs in different ways. I never limit myself to one media, but search for and if necessary learn a new technique that fits my chosen subject.
Above all I combine the elements I choose into installations. I build spaces, where I try to move around in time and space. The works in my exhibition can often be enjoyed as separate experiences, but mostly they form one installation-like piece. At Hippolyte Studio I will build an installation consisting of photographs, through which I create a new, suggested space within the exhibition space.
