The applications were assessed, and the exhibition selections made, by the Exhibition Committee of the Association of Photographic Artists, comprising Adele Hyry, Hertta Kiiski, and Katri Lassila, together with guest experts, curator-writer Joonas Pulkkinen and association member artist Laura B\u00f6\u00f6k.<\/p>\n
The exhibition programme is considered as a whole, taking into account any previously selected exhibitions for the year. The committee is responsible for curating the programme based on the applications received, ensuring that it showcases photographic art through a variety of techniques and subjects, and that the artists are represented as diversely as possible.<\/p>\n

\nThe rental of the exhibition space and the ability to pay artists\u2019 fees depend on the assocations grants and other sources of income. If funding remains at the current level, the space can continue to be offered rent-free and fees paid for upcoming exhibitions as well.<\/em><\/p>\n
