Sales event OTOS/23

OTOS/23 invites to enjoy the art of photography in November

The Association of Photographic Artists brings OTOS to Valssaamo Kaapelitehdas (Kaapeliaukio 3, Helsinki) for the first time from 2-5 November. In 2023, the photographic sales event will take the form of a free, public exhibition as well as an online shop. The exhibition will be open for four days, while the online shop will offer extended purchasing days until the end of November.

OTOS/23 is an opportunity to connect with the practices of photographic artists living and working in Finland. There’s plenty to see and experience with more than 285 artworks on view across a public exhibition and an online shop. The association prides itself in championing diverse and experimental practices within the expanded field of photography: in 2023, OTOS will showcase analogue (silver gelatin, cyanotype, lumen) and digital (pigment, giclee, sublimation print) wall-based works alongside sculptures and artists’ films.

Come to the exhibition, 2-5 November, to see the works up-close and to experience our new print section which compliments the OTOS selection with editioned, unframed artworks to suit a range of budgets. Each artwork featured in OTOS/23 can be acquired for your home or workplace. Remember, you can also browse and purchase works from the comfort of your sofa via our online shop until 30 November.

OTOS is for everyone: entry to the exhibition at Valssaamo Kaapelitehdas is free and open to all. OTOS staff will be happy to guide you through the works and answer any queries you might have.
