Hippolyte Korjaamo temporarily closed – watch a video presentation of the exhibition!

Unfortunately Hippolyte Korjaamo is temporarily closed 16 – 28 Feb 2021. Apologies to all affected!

Tero Puha’s exhibition will reopen in March. However, in the meantime you’ll be able to enjoy a short video featuring images from “Sleep of Shadows” and the artist’s thoughts on his work and photography.

In the video artist Tero Puha puts into his own words his relationship to photographic art and how analogue, black and white image has continued to play an important part in his artistic practice over the years – alongside digitally manipulated images and media art. Sleep of Shadows entails portraits and nudes from the artist’s archive starting from mid-1990s. Partly separate, more personal, but still consistent recording of these images ties in with Puha’s artistic oeuvre, through which he has for years explored contemporary male identity.
