The application for the Photobook Award of the year 2022 is now open. The prize, which will be awarded for the sixth time, will be granted to a Finnish or Finland based photographic artist for a fine art photographic book book published in 2022. The application time ends on 31.1. and the winner will be announced in April 2023.

The Photobook Award of the year award is awarded annually by the Finnish Museum of Photography and the Association of Photographic Artists. The prize is awarded to the author of a commendable fine art photographic book and its amount is 2000 euros.

The award highlights the book as a form of fine art photography and as an independent art work. The aim of the award is to encourage and motivate authors of photo books and to invite the public to become familiar with the art form.
